When we pray...
When we pray for it to stop raining are we considerate of the farmer?
When we pray for it to rain are we considerate of the t-ball player?
When we pray for the storm to miss us, are we mindful of those whom it will hit if God grants our request?
When we pray to be alleviated of some sickness, are we mindful of those who lost loved ones to it?
Is the one who dies from cancer cursed while the one who is cured blessed?
Rather, we should pray that God be with us regardless if it rains, if it storms, if we are in sickness, or if we are in health. We should pray that God be with us regardless if we see each other next Sunday or have a safe trip.
Because God is with us in all situations and circumstances even if it appears our prayers for relief aren’t answered.
At all times He says, “My grace is sufficient for you.”
