Trust Me, You've Got This
It's tough, I know, to step outside of your comfort zone. The nerves, the pressure, the idea of all eyes on you. I know that it is stressful, but I also know you. And more importantly, I know that God knows you, and He wouldn't open up a door for you that you couldn't charge through.
I get it.
It's not something you like to do. It's not something you want to do.
But just like God chose Moses, Miriam, Amos, and the apostles, He has chosen you.
You've put the work in. You've researched. You've gone over it in your head. And you've practiced, but you've also been praying.
My friend Dallas always says, "I pray that God will use you in a mighty way." I pray that same prayer for you.
Whatever it is in your path. Whatever goals you have. Whatever plans God has for you. I know that you can accomplish anything with Him on your side. And if it helps, I'm here too.
So smile. Fist pump the air. Shout for joy. Because you've already won. The game is already over, and you've been made more than victorious. Everything else you do from here on out is part of the victory celebration.
So whoever you are or whatever you're trying to do, do it with all your might because Jesus is risen! You have nothing to lose because "all things are yours" and nothing anyone else thinks, does, or says can change that.
So then let no one boast in men. For all things belong to you, whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or things present or things to come; all things belong to you, and you belong to Christ; and Christ belongs to God.
1 Corinthians 3:21–23
The LORD is for me; I will not fear; What can man do to me? The LORD is for me among those who help me; Therefore I will look with satisfaction on those who hate me. It is better to take refuge in the LORD Than to trust in man. It is better to take refuge in the LORD Than to trust in princes.
Psalm 118:6–9
Had it not been the Lord who was on our side...
Psalm 124:1
