God, We are so close. 

We are close in that You have always      
     been close to me. 

We are close in that I have always     
     been close to You,           
          even without knowing it. 

We are close in that I am growing more     
     and more aware of Your close-ness. 

We are close in that We are approaching     
     a breakthrough in project Daniel. 

I’m meeting Me for the first time in new ways:      
     Me as You made Me.      
     Me as You designed Me.      
     Me as You see Me.      
     Me as You are calling Me to be. 

How many stories have I told about     
     You that weren’t true?

Yes, You who inhabits the unseen realm,      
     the space between and within stars,      
     planets, and galaxies, the air in which     
     the birds fly, and the oxygen we take    
     into our lungs. 

But also the You I see in     
     and beyond the mirror. 

How many stories have I told about     
     You that weren’t true?

Like, for instance, that there is     
     any difference between the You     
     in the heavens and the You in     
     the mirror, for You are in Me     
     and I am in You. 

Yet, when I walk away from the     
     mirror and forget my own     
     Image, I become like one who     
     hears the call deep within themselves     
     but the inferior, external calls lead     
     them away from Truth. 

God, we are so close. 

Only You can take the next step.
