The Land Promises: The New Jerusalem

The New Jerusalem is the city that Abraham searched for, and the New Testament writers said that the city was about to come down from God out of Heaven at the time when the Old Jerusalem would be cast out with her son. The concept of the New Jerusalem versus the Old Jerusalem has its roots in passages such as Isaiah 25 and Isaiah 65-66 where God tells us about the destruction of the wicked and the salvation of the remnant who are then called by a new name. Out with the old; in with the new!
