Good afternoon, everyone!
I’ll be teaching through a class on The Book of the Twelve this Fall. I plan on recording each lesson and uploading any handouts and slides I use.
The complete archive can be found at https://danielr.net/minorp.
I will also be making weekly posts here so that you can get the updates as they are released. My current plan is to release the audio from the class every Tuesday at 5:00am on YouTube and through Substack, but it will be available at the link above even sooner than that!
Here’s this week’s audio and files.
Introduction to the Minor Prophets
Introduction slides (that go along with the audio)
Here’s the best way to use these links:
For the Introduction
Either read the handout or listen to the audio along with the slides.
I talk about our class goals, what we’ll be doing, what we won’t be doing, and how to get the most out of the class. While there is additional info in the audio, it is not absolutely necessary to understand and follow the class.
For Each Minor Prophet
Download the handout ahead of time (in this case for Hosea).
Follow the instructions in the introductory class. This means reading the book, taking notes, and using the handout to guide you into deeper study.
Check back next week for the audio study of the prophet!
From there you can download the next handout if it’s time to go to the next prophet.
You can also listen to the audio on the YouTube app.
Intro is this week and Hosea next week, correct? I had never given the 12 much attention, then I decided to teach them several years ago and loved the study. Look forward to your study. Larry Pruitt, Cullman
