Is Hurricane Harvey a Sign of the END OF TIME?

Many news sites and religious blogs have stated that Hurricane Harvey was a sign of the soon-to-come end of time. They site passages out of Luke 21 and Revelation to support their claims. While it is tempting to read ourselves into the text, we have to first look at the Bible through the eyes of the original audience. Jesus told His disciples that those things applied to the first century!
