In His Glory = In His Kingdom

When Jesus' disciples asked if they could sit with Him on thrones "in His glory," they were asking if they could sit with Him "in His kingdom." We can take this observation and use it to clarify other passages that speak of Jesus coming in glory. When one considers passages like Matthew 16:27-28 or Mark 9:1, then the conclusion is logical:

Jesus coming in glory is the same thing as Jesus coming in His kingdom.

But Jesus would come in His kingdom before some of His followers would taste death.

SO the coming of Jesus in glory would be before some of His followers would taste death!
