Christ in You: The Resurrection
Paul says in Colossians 4 that he was on trial for the mystery (Colossians 4:3). The mystery, as he defined earlier in the book, is "Christ in you, the hope of glory" (Colossians 1:27). In the book of Acts, Paul claimed to be on trial for the hope of Israel, which he said was a resurrection that was about to take place (Acts 24:14-15, 26:6-7, 28:20). Thus, resurrection is "Christ in you." When He who is the resurrection is in and among us, we have life (John 11:25-26, 14:23). Whether we are physically alive or dead, Christ is with us (1 Thessalonians 5:10). This is the great hope of the Bible: restored fellowship between God and man through Christ.
