Laura, Cayden, and I are back in Alabama! I accepted a Co-minister position at the North Broad Street Church of Christ in Albertville, AL. Laura is teaching at Asbury Elementary. We enjoyed our time in Florida! We met many new friends, grew closer together, and learned many valuable lessons.
At this new church, my ministry will be focused on the youth group, but I will also be delivering a sermon once or twice a month depending on the month. One of the co-ministers and a shepherd also enjoy preaching and teaching. I’ll post all of my sermons to my blog for those of you interested as well as publish my speaking schedule for 2022 once we have it worked out.
My plans for my website are to resume regularly writing. I’ll mainly be commenting on or summarizing what I’ve been reading lately until an article series or question grabs my attention. Eventually, once we get back into the swing of things, I’ll start doing my livestreams again to finish up the book of Romans, John, and Acts that I started in Florida.
Finally, be sure to check out Michael Miano’s website for the Blue Point Bible Church. He has asked me to give two sermons on evangelism this fall. My lessons will be entitled (at this time) “Evangelism Before the End” and “Evangelism Because of the End.” I’ll be looking at Matthew 24:14 for the first lesson and various passages from the Hebrew Scriptures, such as Isaiah 2, for my second lesson. I plan on making PowerPoint slides available similar to the ones from PPW.
